Randa Mahmoud

Born 20 August 1987, Randa Mahmoud is an Egyptian Paralympic powerlifter who won a gold medal in the 86 kg division at the 2016 Paralympics, after securing second place in lighter categories at the 2008 and 2012 Games. At the 2014 IPC Powerlifting Championships in Dubai, Mahmoud initially saw Loveline Obiji from Nigeria awarded gold after a disputed lift. However, she successfully appealed, allowing her lift to be counted, which earned her the gold medal and a world record.
